Antonio Conte says Chelsea’s form is not getting the recognition it deserves

Chelsea’s good form is being overshadowed by Manchester City’s incredible run, saysAntonio Conte.
The Blues beat Southampton 1-0 at Stamford Bridge yesterday to make it eight wins in their last 10 Premier League games.
But despite the impressive form of the reigning champions, the run people are talking about is that of Man City. Pep Guardiola’s side extended their winning streak to 16 games on Saturday with a 4-1 victory against Tottenham.

Conte spoke out about the situation yesterday.
‘Someone is forgetting this run, because there is a team winning every game,’ said the Italian.
‘I want to remember that in the last 10 games, we won eight games, drew only one game against Liverpool away and lost only one game, at West Ham.
‘If someone asks me if I want to sign for this in the next 10 games, I’m ready.’
Chelsea’s current form would usually be enough to have them on course for the Premier League title, however Man City’s unparalleled season so far looks virtually certain to see them come out on top in May

Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso says Chelsea’s only hope is to win every game.
‘We have to do what is in our hands and win our games,’ he told Chelseafc.com. ‘It was very disappointing the defeat against West Ham but the response this week was good and this is the way to follow in our next few games. Big teams have to do this and we did it this week.
‘It is still a long way to go and we have to win every game now.’
