It all started in 2006, when Priya was working with Vijay TV’s Kana Kaanum Kaalangal. That time, Atlee’s friend Siva Karthikeyan was also working with Vijay TV’s Jodi Number 1 show. In fact, he’s the one who introduced both of them. When Atlee made a short film “Mugaputhagam”, starring Karthikeyan, Priya attended the premier of it along with her family. Both Atlee and Priya’s families gelled well at that event and since then, they shared a great bond. Their friendship soon took the turn of a love!
